Testing Envive
We use cookies and local storage to ensure a smooth customer experience. Because of this, testing Envive can take a few extra steps — especially when testing prior to launch.
To Test Envive:
Navigate to the site you want to test.
Add
?spiffy_on=trueto the end of the URL.Example:
http://www.your-site.com/product-name?spiffy_on=trueIf the URL already has a
?, add&spiffy_on=trueto the end of the string instead.
Once enabled, Envive will remain active across all pages during your session.
Always use a new incognito window on Chrome or private browsing window on Safari. If you have multiple incognito windows open, they can share cookies and local storage. For best results, close any other incognito windows and launch a new one.
Best Practices
When testing the AI agent, we always recommend that you test:
Your most popular or frequently asked questions.
Guardrails, like asking medical or legal questions relevant to your industry.
Policy info, like shipping details, eligible discounts, and returns policy.
Warm-Up Phase
During the initial testing phase, response times may be a few seconds slower than usual. This is expected, as the system has not yet built a cache of the highest converting, most relevant AI responses. Once we go live and start to see real performance, loading time will decrease.
Send Us Feedback
The best way to send the Envive team feedback is by using the "Give us feedback" button on each widget. This will send us the full AI agent transcript, as well as allow you to make suggestions for training the AI response
Note: this button only shows up when spiffy_on=true is added to the URL — never for customers in the wild.
